day 2. let me list out what we had on day 2. breakfast : bread with butter, cappucino. lunch : spam, bread & salad dinner : kurma chicken with rice. what do you think of the menu? do you like it? i loved the spam very much! hehehehe. ~~ok, we left Solscape Raglan at about 9.30am and headed to our first tourist spot, Bridal Veil Falls. it was 20.3km drive from Raglan. it was a leisure walk into the forest reserve. the path was clear and easy to walk. and after 10 minutes of walking, we saw the fall. #1 : bridal veil falls #2 : choose which way you want ~~we have options to choose, whether we wanted to view from the top, viewpoint or the base of the falls. we went down to the viewpoint only, as the base was closed for renovation. 1/2 hour there, we left the falls and headed to our second destination, Waitomo Caves. ~~we were a bit lost when we were on the way out. and we found ourselves driving around farm land. we saw lots of lambs and cows. and there was one herd of cows blockin...

finally... Day 1 ~~touched down at 1120am, local time. after we got our mpv from APEX Car Rental, we went grocery shopping at Foodtown. we need to do marketing because we would be cooking our own meals. and since we have no idea what to eat for lunch, we opted to eat bread, with ready cooked pork. tasty! i guess it was due to hunger. hahaha. #1 : all seated in the 8 seater Toyota Privia #2 : Foodtown #3 : pork, coleslaw, bread for hungry tummy ~~i was stressed on the first day. map said, head towards South Western Mwy. what is Mwy?? die! i see no South Western Mwy. i only saw S1. and found out later, S1 was South Western Mwy. oh..
