8th Hospis Treasure Hunt

briefing was on a friday, at 6pm. i left the office sharp at 5pm, to meet up with regine at bdr tsk selatan lrt station. we were there on time. not many people were there.
we collected our goodie bags & ordered extra questions (so that we have a copy each to refer to).

we were served some refreshment, while waiting for the rest to arrive. briefing started at 6.30pm.

we gathered at Jaya One, PJ for flagged off. previously, the hunts were flagged off at bkt jalil stadium. wonder why they changed the venue this year. there were no questions set around pj area. we were like, driving all the way north .... then down south again before the 1st question in seremban.
they served light breakfast. curry puffs & sandwiches. & a mobile indocafe lorry was there to provide hot drink for us. we bought mcD breakfast too when we were on the way to jaya one, in case no breakfast provided. so, we kept the mcD for later.

we were the second team to register, hence team number 2. Jerm is the initial for Jane, Elaine, Regine & Mimi. when we told the committee our team name, "ah... Jerm, yes yes, very easy to remember". of course, sounds like GERM. hahahaha... we are clean, by the way.


#7 : places we went
we have 30 questions, 4 treasure questions & 5 road safety questions. this year hunt, we had to go to 4 museums to find answers. we have to be very observant because there were so many information around us. we have to spot the answers!! tough. tested our patience and eye sight.
first part of the hunt, we think we did ok. then we took too much time in the museums, causing us to rush towards the end of the hunt. we could not find our treasures too. broke the clue, but could not find it. i didnt know there is a Bumble Bee Tuna. i didnt know there that Ryan & Marsha are the spokeperson for spritzer Tinge.
after 8 hours, we were tired. we have driven 252+km. oh... it was just KL to seremban. hahahahaha.. we drove from museum to museum, all using trunk roads. winding roads too.. we submitted our answers at royale bintang resort & spa in seremban town. we were 1 minute late. no deduction!

we drove to the nearest place that we could find food after submission. so hungry after breakfast! we checked in around 5pm, and headed to the swimming pool to cool ourselves. our rooms were connected to each other. NICE!

#11 : the empty pool. we had it all by ourselves.
we were served buffet for dinner. nice food. but the restaurant's ventilation was bad. answeres were announced later that night. we had a good laugh over our "silly" answers and also treasures. we didnt get good marks to be the 15th teams.

into my 10th year

today is my working anniversary. completed 9 years. starting my 10th working years today (though i am not working in the office). how many more to go? hmm... i already told myself, once i cleared my study loan, i can resign already. hahaha.... but i need to save money la, so that i can have big plan! yoga studio?? hehehe.

mumbling

came in early this morning. it has been awhile since i took the 642am train. taking the earlier train means have to wake up earlier! usually i take the 657am train. but for the past 1 week, the 657am train has been cancelled. for no reason! we have to wait for the next train which was scheduled at 712am. due to the cancellation, it means JAM PACK in the next train because the 657am crowd will be merging with the 712am crowd. imagine, i could not moved my hands to scratch my face. it was that packed! so, i have no option but to take the earlier train. my working hours starts at 830am. but it's good also lah. early means less crowd in ktm and also monorail. and it's cooler when i'm walking from kl sentral to monorail station. and i can enjoy my breakfast in the office :) friends asked me before, "no plan to buy a car? you can stand (endure) taking train everyday?"... my answer, "everyday i ' stand ' in the train to go to work (no seat ma). i could not s...
