wet wet retreat

last year, we brought them to melaka, bandaraya bersejarah (south). this year, we brought them to taiping, bandar warisan (north). last year, it was sunny. this year, it was raining.

we left kajang at 10.00am, the weather was gloomy. it rained when we reached kl. sigh... but then the sky slowly cleared when we reached the highway. the weather was still ok when we had our lunch at bidor. when we were about to board the bus, it started to drizzle again.

and when we reached taiping, it was pouring! raining cats & dogs.

how to practise yoga at sky bar? the skybar is at the rooftop of flemington hotel, the newest hotel in taiping. the floor was really wet. we asked the hotel staff to mop & dry it up for our session. luckily the rain stopped and let the students enjoyed a yoga session on the rooftop.

after dinner, we planned to bring them to night safari. it rained again when we finished our dinner. how!!!!??? we just went on with our plan. due to the rain, there was no crowd. so, we didnt have to wait for the train service inside the safari. managed to see some animals there. about 20minutes, we have toured the entire taiping zoo. the driver drove very fast.. i think they wanted to finish off work early. haha!

sunday morning, woke up at 630am. went up to the rooftop again to make sure the area was dry for another yoga session. not many students joined the morning session. they prefered to practise "yoga" in bed :)



after breakie, we wanted to walk around taiping lake. but we didnt. it was because of monkeys. lots of monkeys by the roadside. we took some photos at the other side of the lake. the view was so pretty! like postcard! no rain on sunday morning. nice...



we left taiping town after lunch and headed home. i was so tired, i dropped dead at 9pm on sunday night. wanted to take a day off on monday, but i didnt. got work to settle in the office ah!

next year go where? east coast maybe?

Full Moon today

This post has nothing to do with full moon. Can't think of a better title, and since today is 4th Month of 15th day (Wesak day too!), so full moon it is lah. So, I have asked to be excused from my part time job in Bangsar South since mid-March. Since I didn't have to go to office, I have more time, either to be at home, or out playing. As of now, my Tuesdays have been filled up nicely by spending time at Sue Ann's house watching Netflix or doing random things with her. I did think about going home in between classes, but the drive back & forth.... I think I will make myself comfortable at studio, in case Sue Ann starts working or not free to layan me.   What have been I up to? Well, we went to karaoke on one Monday afternoon -- the happy hour promo ie RM 30, with free flow of drink and sing from 1pm to 7pm. We set a theme and went all out. into my 10th year

today is my working anniversary. completed 9 years. starting my 10th working years today (though i am not working in the office). how many more to go? hmm... i already told myself, once i cleared my study loan, i can resign already. hahaha.... but i need to save money la, so that i can have big plan! yoga studio?? hehehe.

what's next?

have been ignoring this space. #1 : my pink rose from 8tv 2 more weeks, i'm off. yoga teacher training course is starting on 21 march. i'm a bit nervous. i dont know whether i'll be able to follow the syllabus. 200 hours. our timetable starts at 6am and end 5.30pm. some days start at 5.30am and ends earlier. monday to saturday. sunday is off day. phew... at least a rest day. nervous nervous...
