tumbling down
"you have to learn how to fall. and you must learn how to fall gracefully".
i learn this from my yoga teacher. hahaha. today, i went for class. we had to do inversion pose, ie headstand, the pose that i fear most. i'm still learning how to stabilise myself without the backing of a wall.
the flow was quite fast for me. i tried a few rounds, but failed to raise both my legs up steadily. i tried again. and manage to 'stand' on my head. happy! but it was not for long. i tumbled down. not from the front, but towards the back. BAAM! everything happened too fast. i was down, lying on back, looking at the ceiling, smiling.
my first fall while on headstand.
the others were still on their "head". i regained my composure and joined back the flow of the class. the teacher said i fell gracefully. did i? she said i rounded my back and this prevented from hurting my neck and back. i didnt realise all that. i knew i was tumbling down, and on the floor. hahahaha....
more practise! more practise!!!
