last friday, last saturday & last sunday

last friday was ricks birthday. he didnt expect we would be "touching" his table on his big day. last last friday's plan was a failure (no repeat.. recycling sucks). so, instead of messing up, it was cleaned up instead. and changed the wallpaper. added some deco just for the sake of "party feel"...


#1 : the clean table

his response, "you all ah.... tsk tsk tsk.. should have taken MC today".

then, we tried to surprise him with a sing-song session. this has failed because he knew. next was lunch. we went to tony roma's as he is a meat-a-ta-rian. they gave the birthday boy a complimentary birthday lava. he was ambushed from the back by the waiters with a super loud happy birthday song. face immediately turned red! hahaha. wishing ricks, many more quarters to go!!

last saturday, i was in malacca for a 2D1N trip. just to eat. re-eat what i have ate on new year this year. while waiting for a procession to pass by, we ended up by the riverside, overlooking eye on malacca. i have not been to this section of of malacca during night. nice lighting! but the riverside was so quiet. i wonder where were all the people. we didnt stay long. we proceeded to our next makan place! food was the priority.

i slept at 7.30pm yesterday. tired. more zzz tomorrow!

My mid life crisis in Y2016

Y2016, I have decided to resign. After 14 years, I needed a break. It's not that I didn't like what I was doing, just that I would like to take a break. And just do nothing. Or maybe something... into my 10th year

today is my working anniversary. completed 9 years. starting my 10th working years today (though i am not working in the office). how many more to go? hmm... i already told myself, once i cleared my study loan, i can resign already. hahaha.... but i need to save money la, so that i can have big plan! yoga studio?? hehehe.

orientation day

today is orientation day. we met up with lance shuler and claire pristley from inspya yoga . lance is the principal and claire will assist him. the orientation was scheduled at 5pm today. we left house at 4pm, an hour earlier. but we were caught in the jam along sg besi highway. 1 minor accident on the way to kl, and another accident at the opposite side of the highway. and that has held us back for 20min. we reached there just in time. phew.... tomorrow is my first day of my ttc course. i am nervous. butterflies in the stomach. can i do it?? wish me luck...
