kl to bangsar
for the past 8 years, i have been traveling from kajang to jln sultan ismail for work. come monday, i will travel from kajang to bangsar for work.
i have finished packing the stuff that i have accumulated for so many years. all boxed, sealed & waiting for movers to collect them!
this is my workstation since i started working here. i changed workstation once. but i came back. i have a "wall" to stick whatever that i wanted to stick on it. photos, stickers, etc... my workstation, the most "colourful" work station in the office. *proud*
when the moving date was confirmed, we started packing. throwing old files that we have kept for ages inside the cabinets. out of sight, for sure out of mind. so, all were pulled out. major clearance! i removed all the memories from the "wall". it's so dull now. i wonder whether i can decorate my place the way i have been doing. :)
last night, all were cleared except for working files. desktop will be gone by friday noon. magazines that used to fill up the cabinets were removed. empty. even my chair will be transported to the new office. then... i sit where leh?
i can't wait to start new in the new office. new way to office. new place to eat. new mode of transport. have to take bus from monday onwards. *scream in horror*. hoping for a smooth smooth journey! hahaha.
new office "opening ceremony" will be on this sunday, 10-10-10 at 10.10am, the auspicious number! my office was "created" 16 years ago, on the same date. cool huh!
going to miss the current office.... all sweet (& of course not so sweet) memories... from yelling "curry puff".. to yelling "conference room NOW"... bangsar, here we come!
