fruitful Q1 2012
had a fruitful Q1 2012. in no particular order.
fruit 1 : samsung galaxy tab. story here.
fruit 2 : 3x grandstand tickets to watch F1 at Sepang Circuit.
although only for qualifying day, still to be there to experience it live was more than enough. we didnt expect the seats were so near to the track and even better, the podium! when we were walking in, the noise of the f1 cars were so ear deafening, we had to buy ear plugs! a pair cost RM5. pay lah!!! or else how to sit until the qualifying ended??
we were well fed. lunch & tea break were provided to petronas guest. yes, our tickets were courtesy of petronas. we could choose 3 different type of lunch or tea break item.

to show how near we were, we saw michael schumacher. he drives for Mercedes AMG this year. only earned a point on the race day.

fruit 3 : backpack & luggage tag
1 Nov 2011 , i received an edm to complete a survey. i did it because of the camera!!!
i'm sensitive to survey via email after i won myself a camera in 2008, whenever i see a survey that promised prizes, i will complete it! (yes, i'm a sucker!)
6 Feb 2012, i received an email that i have won! not the camera (i wish!!), but the backpack & the luggage tag. hahaha. better than nothing lah!

27 Mar 2012, i went to their office to collect. but it was closed! i called them and they said they would courier it over.
30 Mar 2012, i have received it.
fruit 4 : a ferrari pouch & rm 100 shopping vouchers
a bit delayed in mentioning this gift as there was hiccup with prizes.
earlier in february, i went to a dinner courtesy of China Press & Nanyang Press. it was in conjunction with their CNY dinner. i was there to make up the additional seats for our office. we played a table game whereby the main prize worth RM2,000. we tasted some food, we guessed some songs and submitted our answers. and our table won the 1st prize!!! OMG!

one representative went up to take our prizes. when she showed us, it was a pouch and an ikea card. just 1 pouch and 1 card. we were thinking how to share the prize with the 10 of us? because majority came from our office, minus the china press staff, they asked us to take the prize. brought back to office. still didnt divide it yet as we were still not sure how to divide it. i kept the pouch and the card.

a day later, the china press representative called and informed us that there was a mistake during the prize giving. our 1st prize was given to the 2nd winner. mixed up! the 2nd team took and went home!! so, we had to wait for our prizes. she promised to arrange vouchers for us. and the vouchers came on 26 march. so we divided the vouchers, and i took the pouch (valued at rm99) & 100 vouchers. happy!
