sun, sea, sand & MUD!
after we went out to Mt KK, we chilled out at Pulau Tiga. this trip was my sisters dream destination in KK. so we went, a troop of 20. the remaining 4 didnt want to join us, as they have their own plan. the journey to Kuala Penyu jetty took 2 hours from KK town. we didnt sleep, as we were still talking "excitedly" about the climb. those who made it and those who didnt chatting away until we reached the jetty. it was a bright sunny day. perfect weather for island holiday! once arrived, we were greeted with a magnificient view of the jetty. crystal clear water, clear blue sky with cotton clouds.
my ideal holiday by the beach.
when we arrived at the mud volcano, we didnt expect the size of a small pool. we thought it would be bigger! but once everybody dipped in, it was just nice. we didnt venture to the other side of the pool. we were covered with mud except for the eyes and mouth area. the mud was not hot. it was not cold either. we had a good laugh there. we helped each other with a mud massage. and we left the pool after 30min. and slowly walked bare-footed back to the beach to clean ourselves. the trail from resort to the pool was 1.2km. some part of the mud has dried up, and we felt the "pulling" effect. and after washing, our skin did feel smoother.
the sun was setting by the time we have cleaned ourselves. we parked ourselves at the jetty, and admired the awesome skyline. beautiful! and we took a lot of photos of ourselves and also the sky. happy moments!
overall, we had a happy trip together with family and friends. no arguments, thank goodness. i didnt say "talk to the hand" to my friends or sisters. good feedback from first timers who joined us this time. their questions "where are we going next?"....
but i'm going to Pangkor Island this coming weekend. 26-28 May... treasure hunt! a holiday month for me!
