recap of 2011. i'm proud to complete :- Mar -Apr : 200hr TTC workshop Mar , Jun & Aug : 3 times of 108 suryanamaskar Oct : 2 roller coaster rides back to back didnt travel much this year. but i went to :- Jul : kimchi land Dec : lion city the horoscope reading was not accurate! hahaha. still single. last year today, we received the news that there would be an extra day free holiday, thanks to the football team. this year, boss declared half day for christmas and new year!! so, leaving office in 4 and half hours time. happy new year!

i'm a sucker with fairy tale, magical, happy ending stuff. this morning, received an email which i thought the client would not be bother to reply. i did a quotation for a client with a wrong costing. i confessed to him over the phone and explained to him the situation. he asked us to bear the additional cost. i tried my luck and emailed the revised quotation to him. i waited for a few days. no news. so i guess i have to explain to the boss when it's billing time. then this morning, he replied me and signed on the revised quotation. *Grin*! merry christmas all!

it's winter solstice festival today. we made tong yuen in the office! weather report : raining in the morning / cloudy in the afternoon so, will it rain on CNY?

i want to get myself a DSLR! that's one of my 2012 resolution, or maybe it will be my one and only resolution. my favourite canon ixus's camera display is faulty when i went to singapore in october. not sure what went wrong. people said if send for "repair", it's going to be costly. i already repaired it once when the lense has a few black stains. hai... i miss my ixus. now i have to get use to the panasonic, which is the first digital camera that i bought. i considered it as my lucky camera because once i bought it, the other cameras just came one by one. *grin* just that ixus 70 has been my all time favourite. i want to get one DSLR so that when i go to mt kk, i can take nice photos!!!!

this year office christmas party was held in singapore. boss said he has waited 10 years for this to come true. the committee has set the theme for the dinner, ie Glam Rock. how to be glam rock leh? i was browsing a blog post and got inspiration to create my own headband. tied some cable ties, cut some alphabets using artcard, peeled off some bits of glitters from glitter ball, and of course, bling bling power. then glued glued. done! #1 : the props #2 : half bald glitter ball #3 : the end result #4 : all ready to glam rock! i'm happy with the result of my artwork. although i didnt win best dress, i attracted a lot of attention. haha *vain* just wanted to be different for every party. or else, no FUN lor. kan? we went to singapore via coach. we left bangsar at 9am, and we reached the hotel at 5.45pm. such a long journey with a break for lunch at danga bay, johor. the traffic was quite bad at the custom. it was sunday evening. many people went back to singapore. it was a quick showe...

i didnt know what has caused me to say yes to a climb up to mt kk next year. sister has been bugging me to go mt kk many years ago. i find hiking very strenuous. anyway, all has been booked, so i'm going to mt kk next year. with families, relatives and friends. a big group of 24. since i have agreed to climb, i have to start building my stamina. or at least get myself use to hiking. and we have been quite diligently going to apek hill for practise. we started the walk hari malaysia, and continued every public holidays after that. and also on sunday when we didnt have yoga practise. #1 : with claudia at the twisted branch my friend's aunt who is following us to mt kk actually counted how many more sundays we have left before the real climb. 20+ she said. hmm... this sunday, let's go for walk!

it's december already. counting this entry, i'm still 6 entries short compared to last year. how can? i thought i have written alot. but still not as much as last year! should i write daily now? just to show increment? hahaha... sam-pat! feel shitty lately. hai... oh, this sunday, i'm going to singapore. sunday go, monday come back. shiok! for our office kwismas party! office celebrated deepavali way earlier before the actual day on 26 Oct. we had dinner at la bodega, jalan telawi 3. i thought we would be eating spanish food. no... committee catered indian food. we were asked to dress to the theme, ie to don the traditional attire and "fight" for the best dress! i have always wanted to buy saree. but the price always stop me. this year, i went shopping quite last minute. dinner was yesterday, friday, and i only went shopping on tuesday night. hahaha! mum said there is a shop having a 70% sale in kajang. went in the shop, so many type to choose from. saree, punjabi suits etc. i told the lady boss that i wanted a top & a skirt. she said, "oh, lengha ". and she chose one with 70% tag. looked nice & classy, i tried it. what's the price after discount? RM170. before discount?? RM 570! wahhhhhhhh..... #1 : the choli #2 : the skirt #3 : everthing hand-stitched! the lengha was my size, just needed some alteration for the top ...

heard this song " Jatuh " by Liyana Fizi... and i felt in love. and another song by her, " Light Writing " also very nice. have been listening to this song again and again and again since last night until now :)

i love to read. but i'm stingy. the cost of a decent book is so expensive! how la to encourage people to read more? went to a charity events with coupons in hand. what to buy? food? how much we could eat? then i saw at one corner, a stall selling books at RM2 per copy. and i selected 8, which only cost RM16. only realised i have read 1 of them when i flipped through at home. but still worth it. #1 : from pkik last weekend, in FB, saw people's status about big bad wolf. what's that? then i saw in the newspaper about the sale. it was a book sale nearby my house. decided to go and have look. didnt came back empty handed because the books were so cheap! #2 : big bad wolf sale!

i was so happy when i was told that i would be going to singapore for the axn trade event. free stay in the newest hotel, Marina Bay Sands, and free trip to Universal Studios Singapore. put work aside, we left kl on friday morning. astro chartered 3 buses to send us there. due to the rain along the highway, and the bad traffic in singapore, we only managed to check in at about 430pm. #1 : view from my room, facing the water front didnt waste any time and we went out to meet up with linda for dinner at ion orchard. it was peak hour when we took the mrt, and oh boy, we had to push our way into the mrt. hahaha. and i thought singaporean would be more "in order" than us. it's the same lor! afterall, we are all human, rushing to go home after a long day in the office. plus, it was friday night! of course pack ler! #2 : ion orchard at night... after dinner, we walked around orchard road. did some window shopping and went back to hotel. time to rest for a long day on saturday. w...

i'm going to singapore tomorrow, courtesy astro. it's their trade event. i went twice and this will be my third trip. first was to rompin in year 2006. second trip was to singapore in year 2008, which i didnt blog about it. hahaha. (because i didnt win anything from that trip!) anyway, i'm happy to be selected to go and get to stay in marina bay sands & head to universal studio too! awesomeness! work? hai.. monday only think about it lahh!

introducing my new toy for the month :) it came all the way from japan. cost less than RM 300! pentax nano block camera depends on your creativity, you can create different designs using the small tiny blocks. current design testing the "smile detector" function! hahaha... Smile *click*

last friday, i opened a zip of a sling bag that i have not been using for quite some time. i found cinema ticket, dated sep 18, 2005. WAH, so long ago. then i realised that sep 18 is coming sunday, which is today!! and hereby, the posting for today after a long hiatus. # charlie & the chocolate factory !

i was playing with a 4 year old girl last saturday during surya yoga open day . we played bowling (blocks as pins) and we built staircase. when it was time to go, this was the conversation between the girl, her mummy & i. mummy : let's go denisa. we need to pick up daniel denisa : i want to play. mummy : no.. we are late. let's go. then we go eat roti canai. denisa : ok, i want to bring girl along (pointing to me) me : me? you want to bring me for roti canai? denisa : YES!!! a few minutes spent with a 4 years old, and in return, she wanted to bring me for roti canai.. heart melting...

since april till now, i have done thrice 108 surya namaskar. my very first round was on the last day of my ttc in April, followed everfit open day in June. yesterday was my third, in August. we were invited by Jo, from SuryaYoga to lead the 108 surya namaskar session, in conjunction with Surya Yoga 10th Anniversary Open Day. #1 : the invitation card elaine & i and together with nicholas, three of us led the class. i was very nervous as i was the one who did all the talking in front. it felt like assessment time. butterflies in the stomach. whatever that i have learnt during my ttc came back to my mind. intention of the class. any injuries. any questions. in order not to confuse ourselves with the counting, i did the talking and elaine did the counting. i suggested to use sticker to indicate every 10th set that we have completed. #2 : mat sticked with hearts (sticker) before the session started, i explained briefly about why 108 surya namaskar. i have made notes and placed it i...

#1 : a bag, as per the picture on the box (light & easy!!) #2 : it was from moonstruckmum . a magazine was attached to the box, featuring the spring summer collection of bapekids . and there is a page filled with stickers! so cute! #3 : (left) from my childhood friend & (right) my boss. childhood friend as in we have been friends since we were 6 years old & and hopefully, to many more years to come! my boss, which i have been working with her since i started my days in media. #4 : a scrapbook from ms lee! no need to say more, she knows me well! i'm going to use the ideas inside this book! will share my artwork in the space soon, i hope! hehehe.. (depends on how rajin i am lah) #5 : from cousin sister (it's a story book. nice cover!) she knows i love to read.... muahahahha! #6 : unexpected... all the way from italy my cousin sister's hubby bought a size too big for the wife. so, i'm the proud new owner! the shoe that breathe.... awesome!

it's 1215am now. came back from dinner with friends. settling down. hmm... an interesting day to welcome number 32! hahaha... not sure if i'm predictable. they just knew what's my favourite stuff. haha. they bought me mahjong cuppie cupcakes. i super love mahjong! presents, i received scrapbook manual (she know i'm arty), a table fan (as i always complain hot), bag (which i'm looking for one..now no need look), perfumes (no need replenish!) will post the photos later... time to sleep! a happy birthday indeed!
