family outings
first time during CNY, the whole family went out for an outing. we headed up north to penang with anne, foo, regine & tommy. 10 of us in 2 cars started the journey at 630am. pit stop at Bidor for breakfast. i was barely awake throughout the journey. why?
it is because i didnt sleep the night before. it was the 9th day of CNY. i was on leave, so i invited some friends over for a mahjong session. we played and played and the clock continue ticking until it was 3am. i asked them whether they wanted to continue until 6am. they agreed and we played until 5am and finally stopped. we proceeded to McD for breakfast before we started our journey to penang. i slept in the car...eyes were so heavy but the mind was so active. i kept thinking about the tiles...hahahaha.
it was so hot in penang. we went to find the food that we wanted to eat and went to places that we wanted to go. Kek Lok Si was one of the place that we stopped by. the last time i was there, i was 12 years old. the next day morning they went to Penang hill, i opted out. i told them i wanted to sleep. nothing is more precious than sleep!!!!
last weekend, we went to The Farm in Broga with family friends. there were 34 of us. supposed to be 36, but 2 couldnt make it the very last minute. we ate, we laughed, we talked, we drank & we played to the max! what is there to play in the farm? hahaha. mahjong and gimrumie of course. the novices were busy learning, while the masters were busy practising. no one has more than 4 hours of sleep. sleep was the last thing in mind. we fully utilised the time practising.
overall, we had a great get-together time with our friends. our circle of friend is getting bigger and bigger. twin's friends are my friends, my friends are their friends and their friends are my friend's friends...confusing huh! all in all, we are all in the BIG circle. the more the merrier.
