let's go for a walk...
along the railway track.... :) yes, no kidding!
(the gap between the train and the track!)
(walking hand in hand)

today i had the experience of walking along the railway track. usually i will be inside the train, using the railway track. but this evening after work, i had the chance to walk along it!
i thought it would be a smooth ride home today. the train was on schedule, the crowd was bearable, until the train left salak selatan station. there are a few electricity transmission towers near the station, so everytime the train passes by, it will shut down the engine and restart again. today, the engine failed to restart after many attempts. we started to get irritated and frustrated.
since the engine failed to start, there was no air-cond and lights inside the train. it was getting stuffy. we couldnt open the door or any windows at all. if i was to trap inside for more than 15 minutes, i think i would faint!! and as usual, the driver just announced "train mengalami kerosakan". that's all. only after 20 minutes, he informed us to get down from the train.
i was like HUH??? how? jump?? but the gap between the train and the railway track is so big! how to get down? we were asked to walk to the first coach (i was in the middle coach), where the doors were opened to let us out. once i was there, i saw people started jumping down the train. even those wearing baju kurung also jumped down. i was impressed. there was a ladder at another door, to assist the ladies and the pregnant ladies.

my turn to get down now, i told myself. i sat down first at the door. i put my bag down, and i "hopped" down. there were many pebbles, so i made sure i landed on my feet properly. i dont want to sprain my ankle. once out, i started walking back towards salak selatan station.

at first i was a bit angry. the delay has caused me to miss my yoga class. but after jumping down from the train, and while i was walking along the railway, i had a good laugh over this incident. i told myself that this is not something that will happen everyday! choi! i dont want this to happen ever again!!!
when we were stalled, it was drizzling. OMG, i was already caught in this mess, and now rain? but i was luckily when i jumped out from the train, the rain has stopped.

(clear sky.....let's go for walk, along the railway track)
so i took my own sweet time, enjoying the moment. took my camera out and started taking pictures and mms to my friends to have a good laugh about this :) it took me about 5 minutes or more to reach the station because i was walking very slowly. i missed the train that was waiting at the platform.
picture below, the train on the left side continued the journey back to seremban, while the train on the right was the "tow-train".

it was 720pm when i managed to board the train. and i still made it to the 8pm yoga class.
this 1 hour experience at salak selatan station will always be in my mind..
