short short trip to Port Dickson

i could not remember when was the last time i went to PD. was it with Everfit? or with my friends? anyway, i was given vouchers for a night stay at The Legend Water Chalet. the vouchers are valid until 30 Nov, i.e. today. since it was free, and it has been some time since the last visit, we went there for a stay. oh, the 'we' consisted of parents, elaine & me.

when we were about to leave kajang, the weather was gloomy and cloudy. i thought it would rain. when we reached PD, it was bright & sunny! sunny until we decided to stay inside the room until it's time for dinner. it was a deluxe room, with a king size bed & a day bed. the layout of the room was new to us. when open the door, you will see the open bathroom. then only you step inside the room.

we went out around 5pm, to round the town and also the beach area. dad said to go out earlier, so that we could see the road clearly. since no one is familiar, hence it's better to drive while the sky is bright. hahahaha. we headed towards Blue Lagoon, the place that we used to stay when we went to PD. the beach was no longer clean. we also cruised around the area. so many new hotels were build.

after dinner at a halal chinese seafood restaurant, we went back to town. with nothing to do, we went to The Store in Oceanic Mall. from The Store, we stopped by at Billion Shopping Centre. nothing much to see or do, we went back to the hotel at 9pm. the night was still young, but there was nothing to do! zzz time? yeah!!!

3 of us, ie mum, elaine and me shared the king bed, while dad slept on the day bed. the room was so cold! at 3am, mum accidentally broke a glass. she was trying to adjust the room temperature, when the air-cond remote slipped from her hand. while trying to catch the remote, the other hand released the glass in hand and CRASHED! the cost of the broken glass, RM5.

#4 : the sky roof

i thought some one dropped from the sky roof inside the room! everything was cleared and all went back to bed. it was so cold that i covered my whole body with my blanket from home. i knew it would be hard to share a blanket with another 2 person, so i brought mine along. i didnt really sleep well. so where mum and elaine. hahahaha.

around 7am, parents started talking to each other, and i know it's time to wake up. elaine wanted to check out, breakfast and headed home. agreed! we went to Lukut for breakfast. we had dimsum, bak kut teh and pan meen. dad said to use old route to go back. his choice since he was the one driving. we stopped at seremban town to buy siew pau (ever famous!) and we reached home at 11am.

less than 24 hours, we were home, and continued to sleep. next weekend, i will be heading up north with my sisters, cousins and friend to Penang for a food hunt. this will be the last hunt to wrap up year 2008!
