started the day with a cup of tea, and a crooked spoon. like my mind, not thinking straight. today is not saturday, today is holiday!

i dont mind working late because of pre-holiday! hahaha... but i still worry about not being able to complete my work. but then again, work can never be completed!  going off now..one more day tomorrow and i'm off! 

i'm counting the days to my Taiwan trip this weekend. it was not in my to-go-country at the moment. but sisters said, why not just joined them since all has been arranged? so, a trip it is!

what have i been doing for the past many many months? i stopped writing in September, not that i have been writing daily. which i tried to, but i failed. anyway, October has been fun. it was because i traveled to Osaka with my sisters and friends. we spent about 9 days there. from Osaka, we headed to Kyoto first, then back to Osaka. a very lovely country. a very clean country. a very systematic country, whereby the public transportation is awesome. we used the bus and the train throughout the journey. did we get lost? maybe, i guess. but the japanese were kind enough to show us the correct route, although they could not speak english.  and when i came back from Osaka, 3 days later, i went to Bali. it was my company trip. 3d2n. yeah, a very short trip. we only saw a volcano, and went to kuta beach. and we were back in KL. the flight was in the afternoon, so, first day was gone. and the flight back on day 3 was in the afternoon as well. so, in total, i think i spent less than ...

last year during Christmas party, we were first told by boss  that in 2012, we would be going to Moscow for company trip. seriously?? so we waited for almost 9 months, before the final destination was announced. beijing! it was beijing. an unexpected destination. but never mind! i've not been there, so totally fine with me. i'm not the one paying the bill, so Thank You boss for the retreat!! we were told to keep this retreat as low profile as possible. we left KL on Thursday (some in the morning, some in the evening). and came back on Monday. it was a replacement holiday on Monday, thanks to Hari Malaysia. we went to the hot spots in beijing. but we didnt eat at the best spot in beijing. food wise, must be halal lor... so, we didnt have much option, but to go muslim restaurant, serving chinese food, but halal. we thought it would be a cold trip, as the weather forecast reading was as low as 12 degrees, and as high as 25 degrees only. we packed some jackets along, in case ...

hmm, have not been updating for a while. will fly off to beijing later today. "staff retreat", boss asked us to tell client. and make this trip as low profile as possible. hahaha. so, more update when i'm back!

after we went out to Mt KK, we chilled out at Pulau Tiga. this trip was my sisters dream destination in KK. so we went, a troop of 20. the remaining 4 didnt want to join us, as they have their own plan. the journey to Kuala Penyu jetty took 2 hours from KK town. we didnt sleep, as we were still talking "excitedly" about the climb. those who made it and those who didnt chatting away until we reached the jetty. it was a bright sunny day. perfect weather for island holiday! once arrived, we were greeted with a magnificient view of the jetty. crystal clear water, clear blue sky with cotton clouds. my ideal holiday by the beach.  when we arrived at the mud volcano, we didnt expect the size of a small pool. we thought it would be bigger! but once everybody dipped in, it was just nice. we didnt venture to the other side of the pool. we were covered with mud except for the eyes and mouth area. the mud was not hot. it was not cold either. we had a good ...

it never cross my mind to climb the highest mountain in SEA, Mount Kinabalu. my sisters have been pestering me since last year to go for it. my reply, No Thank You! and last year when AA was having the cheap airticket sale, they just bought tickets for the family, minus the youngest as it clashed with her study.  and slowly, from a small group of 12, it grown to 24! double! "can i join you all?" "you still have place for me?"... and they didnt really shout out about this trip. and they closed it at 24. the max of place they could secured for Laban Rata. and after many months of waiting, the trip was executed!  did we train for this climb? of course we did. we walked up to Apek Hill almost every sundays, and added Luxury Hill into the list when it was nearer to the climbing date. i was concerned about my stamina as i am not an "active" person! my 63 years old dad walks faster than me uphill. so you know how i fare. hahaha.  off we went to KK on...

this year office christmas party was held in singapore. boss said he has waited 10 years for this to come true. the committee has set the theme for the dinner, ie Glam Rock. how to be glam rock leh? i was browsing a blog post and got inspiration to create my own headband. tied some cable ties, cut some alphabets using artcard, peeled off some bits of glitters from glitter ball, and of course, bling bling power. then glued glued. done! #1 : the props #2 : half bald glitter ball #3 : the end result #4 : all ready to glam rock! i'm happy with the result of my artwork. although i didnt win best dress, i attracted a lot of attention. haha *vain* just wanted to be different for every party. or else, no FUN lor. kan? we went to singapore via coach. we left bangsar at 9am, and we reached the hotel at 5.45pm. such a long journey with a break for lunch at danga bay, johor. the traffic was quite bad at the custom. it was sunday evening. many people went back to singapore. it was a quick showe...

i was so happy when i was told that i would be going to singapore for the axn trade event. free stay in the newest hotel, Marina Bay Sands, and free trip to Universal Studios Singapore. put work aside, we left kl on friday morning. astro chartered 3 buses to send us there. due to the rain along the highway, and the bad traffic in singapore, we only managed to check in at about 430pm. #1 : view from my room, facing the water front didnt waste any time and we went out to meet up with linda for dinner at ion orchard. it was peak hour when we took the mrt, and oh boy, we had to push our way into the mrt. hahaha. and i thought singaporean would be more "in order" than us. it's the same lor! afterall, we are all human, rushing to go home after a long day in the office. plus, it was friday night! of course pack ler! #2 : ion orchard at night... after dinner, we walked around orchard road. did some window shopping and went back to hotel. time to rest for a long day on saturday. w...

i'm going to singapore tomorrow, courtesy astro. it's their trade event. i went twice and this will be my third trip. first was to rompin in year 2006. second trip was to singapore in year 2008, which i didnt blog about it. hahaha. (because i didnt win anything from that trip!) anyway, i'm happy to be selected to go and get to stay in marina bay sands & head to universal studio too! awesomeness! work? hai.. monday only think about it lahh!

weird title eh? can guess what those are all about? no need guess ler... it's korea! am going there next wednesday night! back on sunday night! *jump up high*...

i love holiday! who doesn't love holiday? and the best holiday is when we have a few days in a row! totally unexpected free holidays! when i reached the office this morning, my colleague told me tomorrow is a public holiday. "for what reason?" in today's headline, the malaysian team won the aff suzuki cup . the best one liner to close 2010! happy holiday yo!!

last friday was ricks birthday. he didnt expect we would be "touching" his table on his big day. last last friday's plan was a failure (no repeat.. recycling sucks). so, instead of messing up, it was cleaned up instead. and changed the wallpaper. added some deco just for the sake of "party feel"... #1 : the clean table his response, "you all ah.... tsk tsk tsk.. should have taken MC today". then, we tried to surprise him with a sing-song session. this has failed because he knew. next was lunch. we went to tony roma's as he is a meat-a-ta-rian. they gave the birthday boy a complimentary birthday lava. he was ambushed from the back by the waiters with a super loud happy birthday song. face immediately turned red! hahaha. wishing ricks, many more quarters to go!! last saturday, i was in malacca for a 2D1N trip. just to eat. re-eat what i have ate on new year this year. while waiting for a procession to pass by, we ended up by the riverside, overlook...

the trip that we have been looking forward to, has come & gone. we left kl on wednesday night.. or, should i say thursday morning at 0030. from wangsa maju, we headed to merang jetty, terengganu. we didnt know how long the journey would be. only one driver throughout the journey. we offered to drive. but driver said,"it's ok. i'm fine". so we let him drove lah! my eyes were extremely heavy. i thought i could kept the driver company. 2 passengers accompanied him, while me & juns shut our eyes. 5 of us were in a car, while another 3 friends were to fly to KT. they have drove all the way from singapore. if to drive to merang, can die! we stopped to pee once, and to pump petrol once. no food stop. and when i was about to fall sleep, we have reached the jetty at 0630. my head was so heavy. at the jetty, there were so many "stalls" with the name of the resort. but we could not find RedangLang Resort . we stopped looking. we decided to eat breakfast first. ...

i'll be going to lang tengah next wednesday!! i consider this my first holiday for 2010. have been waiting for this trip since.... i forgotten. march maybe? or is it april? anyway, it's here finally!!! we will be driving on wednesday night to terengganu. no bus, as some of my colleagues are concerned about the driving skill of the bus driver :) by driving on our own, we can stop whenever we want, wherever we want! but will take turn to drive because it's going to be a long long long drive there! #1 : sun, sea, sand.... TAN! TAN! TAN!

~~ a jungle indeed. i first stepped into taman negara in 2003. 6 years ago, we took a boat ride to into the jungle. painful 2 hours journey in a sampan. 6 years later, it was a journey by bus. it was my office company trip last weekend. last year we went to kerala , this year cuti cuti malaysia. #1 : welcome to taman negara ~~ it was raining when we left kl. luckily it stopped when we reached jerantut for late breakfast. the drive from jerantut town to the jetty was winding & quite bumpy. those who has car-sickness problem, suggest to sit at the navigator seat. ~~ we reached the jetty at about 1.30pm and we crossed the river to our hotel , where we had our lunch, while waiting for our room to be ready. 2 of us shared a room or should i said a chalet. #2 : my chalet #3 : room number matches the bag number! ~~ after lunch, we had a 2 hour workshop. some test about "who am i".. and some test to work out our brain. #4 (a) : questions : numbers with no calculator in hands #4 (...
