PERCUMA . the last word attracted all of us in the office. hahahhaa... so during lunch hour, i went to check. very curious about bone health as i have not done any test before. it was organised by Anlene, in our office building. no need go out wan! #1 : waiting for my turn #2 : right leg on this machine #3 : the two "balloons" at both side of ankle expanded slowly fast, simple, painless procedure, and it only takes 2 minutes. fast! #4 : and my result (-0.5) i'm still in green zone. light green. low risk. for my age, consider ok. but must start to input more calcium. milk, cheese, yoghurt, toofoo, taufofah to prevent brittle bone and osteoporosis! #5 : mine masih kuat!

it was already 7.30pm when i took my komuter back to kajang. train came and i boarded. i walked to the end of the coach, and a man occupied 2 seats, with his eyes closed. cilaka! then he opened his eyes. he saw me. he took his bag, put on his lap, and he moved to the outer seat. i took the inside seat. then i started reading. i was on mp3 too. could not really concentrate because i was reading and trying to "sing" at the same time! hahaha... not sing out loud, of course. sing in the heart... anyway, the man next to me has his backpack on his right thigh. then his left hand was tapping near his groin area. *ahem* NO, i didnt turn and look. i saw the movement of the fingers from the corner of my eyes. light tapping. not on the thigh.. but at the "centre" of the groin area wor. non stop! at first i wanted to stop reading and nap for a while. but, when i "noticed" the tapping, i told myself, better be awake. better be safe than "tapped". i was seated...

things that i wanted to do in 2008 were not executed, i think. i didnt create any list for 2009, knowing that i wont checked the items from the list. what about 2010? let me see just write them out for the sake of writing 1) to make more friends? ~~i'm wondering, how many friends do i actually i have? those who i really keep in touch with? as in i have their mobile numbers and i call or sms them? do i really need more for the sake of widening my circle? some said YES, so that i can find my "other half". ( where are you, my other half? ) hehehehe.. 2) to stay healthier? ~~since growing vertically is not going to happen, i'm hoping that i can prevent myself from growing horizontally. tough! tough! it's maintenance time! 3) to travel more? ~~who doesnt want this in their MUST DO list? 2009 highlight was new zealand . a very crazy last minute decision. booked in february, and off we went in april. krabi too was adhoc & unplanned but well executed. where to next,...

i was in mid valley (AGAIN!) earlier for dinner with friends. my 4th trips within 2 weeks? enough of MV jor... #1 : amarin heavenly thai ~~it was so called the last reunion for 2009. it's hard to arrange for a big group of friends to gather for a simple makan session. this round, managed to group 10 of them. main reason was the return of mr & mrs chong from UK for holiday. both of them are working in london. mrs chong is currently 6 1/2 months pregnant. congrats to both! #2 : reservation under ms mimi... the simple handwriting to mark my territory! (15% did make a lot of different in the total bill. hsbc..my one & only card. hahaha!) #3 : it's all about (D)SLR cameras nowaday.. #4 : mrs & mr Chong #5 : mieng kam #6 : appetizer of fish cakes, popiah, etc ~~and then too busy talking and eating.. forgot to take photos of what i ate! hahaha. after this session, the next one, hopefully will be during cny. see you then!

HOLIDAYS! parents will be back from china later this evening. so, my youngest sister will be in charged at home, doing all the cooking for prayer and also for dinner later tonight. today must eat glutionous rice ball. i love 'tong yuen' with sweet ginger soup. no need peanuts, no need fillings. just plain tong yuen is enough. (where is your hometown?), my answer will be,"China". they will give me this look. yeah, true lah. my dad is born in china. so, if i want to balik kampung, i will balik china. my dad's two sisters still reside in china. the eldest in putian, and the second sister in foochow. those days, my grandpa only brought his two sons to malaysia. the daughters were left in china. dad was only 7 when he came to malaysia. he went back once 6 or 7 years ago with his eldest brother. ~~two years ago, we balik kampung. dad's kampung is in putian, xiamen in china. we went back to celebrate 'chap goh meh', the 15th day of chinese new year (the last day too), and also to "bring" the ancestors from the "chi thong" (where all families placed their ancestors under one roof) back to my aunt house. we reached home at 3am. by 9am, the neighbourhood knew the entourage from malaysia has arrived. news...
